PRS literature search training

A reminder about literature searching training:

1. For those who came to the Literature Review Workshop in November:

Today (Thursday) afternoon, Working with the literature 2-4pm, Seminar Room J. This session is a follow-on from the November workshop, and will look at more advanced subject searching, searching inter-disciplinary resources, setting up alerts for new literature, and tracing the impact of research. The session will be very much guided by you and your own research topics and interests, so please do bring along your research questions and any problems/questions you may have.

2. For those who couldn't make the session in November:

"Resources for research" workshop on Effective search strategies, Wednesday 25th January (repeated Thursday 16th February), 9.30-12.30, IT Training Room, Social Science Library, Manor Road. This session will look at the literature search process as a whole, from building an effective search strategy to searching a wide range of resources, saving your searches, creating alerts and tracing research impact. Please bring your research question with you.

I hope to see you all at one or other (or both!) of these sessions.
